Preparing documents

Which documents do you need?

Get your bank statement and invoices ready for the quarter you want to prepare.

Start with a complete overview.

For a good VAT draft you need the main documents of the quarter. With them BTW Kwartier can recognise amounts, make suggestions and build an overview you can check. Make sure you have the following documents at hand:

  • Bank statement for the chosen quarterAn overview of all credits and debits on your business account.
  • Sales invoicesAll invoices you sent this quarter.
  • Purchase invoices and receiptsAll invoices and receipts for your business expenses.
  • Answers to questions about business useSometimes we ask extra questions, for example about private or business use.
Use the VAT check to first establish whether your situation fits within the supported scope.

Check what’s still missing.

See whether all important amounts appear in your documents. The overview shows which documents have been added and which are still missing. Missing an invoice or a payment? Add it, so the VAT draft is complete and verifiable.

You stay in charge.

You choose which documents to upload. You can always view, add or remove them yourself. The VAT draft clearly shows which amounts were recognised, which sources belong to them and which items you can still check.
